Greenfield Dragway is pleased to announce a Sport Compact class for the 2012 season. The following are rules for running in this class;

1) ET for the class will be 12.5 seconds and slower.

2) Slick size is limited to 24.5 inch tire diameter.

3) 4 & 6 cylinder Sport Compact cars FW/RM/AW drives allowed. No V8’s, trucks or SUV’s permitted. 

All cars will have to comply with the IHRA Rulebook for the ET that the vehicle is running.There will be a $35.00 entry fee for this class.Competitors will be racing for trophies only; there is no purse for this class. 

Competitors can enter a point’s series ($10.00 to run points); the top three racers in the points series will receive trophies at the banquet. The first place racer will receive a prize purse. The money for the first place racer is a Sponsored purse, not track supported. 

On Saturday there will be an open gamblers race for all sport compacts. There will be no ET break and any size slick is permitted. Vehicles will still have to comply with the IHRA Rulebook for the ET that the vehicle is running.
