With regret the Greenfield Dragway July 2010 Sport Compact event was cancelled due to the weather forecast andcannot be rescheduled for either of the remaining August or September race dates.A Sport Compact event will be scheduled for the 2011 race season. The August date conflicts with the Sport Compact event in Miramichi and the September date has a full schedule with a regular points race, an ADRA meet and a Stock/Super Stock special event. Adding an additional weekend to the current 2010 schedule at Greenfield Dragway is not possible for numerous reasons. That having been said, any and all Sport Compact participants are more than welcomed to attend our 2010 August and September races and participate in the class they qualified to run in. During the August event, every effort will be given to provide an opportunity for the Sport Compact racers to "race your buddy" during Friday evening and Saturday time trial sessions. First time racers, as well as any other interested racers, will have the opportunity to receive specific instruction and guidance on the basics and etiquette of bracket racing as well as burnout, staging and general track procedures.
