Latest Race Results

Here are the results from the second points race at Greenfield Dragway, July 6-7.

Oh my...it was a little steamy at the dragway over the weekend! With temperatures above 90 F and DA's topping 3000ft on both days it was a true test for both racer and vehicle. Most were reporting as much as two tenths slower than the June event. But hey, best not complain after the sketchy weather we've had recently.

158 entries cleared tech over the weekend that saw the Atlantic Pro Tree Series contested on Saturday along with box, no box, junior dragster and Sport compact gamblers races. In Pro Tree action Bruce Howatt topped Michael Golden in 10.90 Hot Rod; it was Josh Goodwin over Barrett Bonnar in 9.90 Super Rod and Chris O'Neill dumped Todd Chase in 8.90 Quick Rod. In the Box final Josh Goodwin completed the double with a win over Tim Lawrence and Blaine Gavel survived a near perfect Anthony Emin on the tree in the final of No Box. George Joudrey came out on top in Sport Compact and Logan Power took junior dragster over a red lighting Rebecca Lawrence.
