Last week we announced that we will be holding our annual meeting, March 29th at the Bridgewater Legion. How is this relevant you ask? If you’re already a member of the Nova Scotia Drag Racers Association your input is important! If you’re not already a member, you should be! This goes for racers and dedicated fans alike!
There are a few reasons why being a member of our association is beneficial to you and the organization both. In previous years it was optional for racers to be members of the NSDRA and race in the Greenfield Dragway point’s series, as of our last general meeting it was voted that any drivers racing for points would also be required to be a member of the NSDRA. What does this mean for racers, simple, $20 will get you a year membership and for an additional $10 you will be entered into the 2018 points series! What about those interested in supporting the association by becoming a member, but do not race, it will be only $20 for a year membership!
The annual meeting of the NSDRA will be held at the Bridgewater Legion (78 Churchill Street) on March 29, 2018. The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm.
Purpose of the meeting will be;
1) To finalize plans for the 2018 season.
2) Election of Directors.
Members wishing to pay their 2018 memberships will be able to do so before the meeting starts. New members wishing to join may do so at the same time. People will be available starting at 7:00 pm for those wishing to pay their dues.
Please spread the word around about the meeting.
